Here are our first rough ideas for the promotion of our video and band. They are all quite similar with having the band name as the largest thing on the page and the majority of our ideas feature the logo. The top one is based around a photgraph that we took whilst filming the performance and once it was edited it became an option for our dvd cover.
The second one feature the logo and band name in the centre of the page, with lots of kitsch items surrounding item, quite obviously representing the band and its brand image.
The third one features lots of coloured lights which appears throughout the video. The band members stood on top of the band name- this again could be a photograph that was taken during the filming of band performance. At the bottom is the band name in a more serif font, with flourishes giving the band again the kisch feel, and also shows what the bands brand image is.
The fourth idea features again the band name in the centre of the page and in bold pink writing, as this is our band colour for girls and representing the colour and narrative of the song (the girl standing up for herself in the end). The lightening strikes appear as a theme throughout the dvd cover/ adverts and shows the power that the band holds.
